The Loyal Dominatrix

Domination as a two-way road...

In the scene, it is understood that a submissive must be loyal to his or her dominant. However, it is also important that a dominatrix be loyal to her submissive. There is a lot of trust that goes into these kinds of relationships, and without loyalty, they will fail. Both parties need to know that a strong bond is in place that cannot be broken.

A dominatrix must pledge herself to her submissive, just as the submissive must pledge his loyalty to her. It is important for both people to get the amount of loyalty out of the relationship that they desire. For example, if one person wants an exclusive relationship, it is important that both people agree to that. If both people cannot agree to that, then they cannot both offer the same level of loyalty and the relationship will fail.

Once they have decided on the level of loyalty that they expect out of the relationship, they must both work to maintain that level. The dominant must be willing to sacrifice for the relationship and be loyal at all times. Loyalty means many different things, but in the end it all proves a dedication to the submissive.

The dominatrix must show loyalty in the face of others. That means that the dominant must stand up for and protect her submissive around other people. She cannot allow people to ridicule her submissive. She must show that she cares about him enough to stand up for him. The submissive looks to the dominatrix for guidance, so protecting the submissive is of the upmost importance.

She must also show loyalty to the growth and well being of the relationship. A dominatrix who has entered a relationship with a submissive must stay true to that relationship. A real dominant and submissive relationship takes energy. If a dominatrix can only spend a little time and effort on a submissive because she has too much going on, that will hurt the relationship. The relationship will be unable to mature. Instead, the relationship has to be incredibly important so it can be a focus for the dominatrix.

Loyalty is incredibly important on the part of the dominatrix. It inspires the submissive to be loyal to her, and it allows for trust to find its place in the relationship. Loyalty shows that the two people are working together in order to form the best relationship possible. They do not have to worry about the other person straying, because the loyalty is intact.
