What does a Dominatrix Expect?

There is a picture that many people get in their heads from watching movies. A dominatrix is a woman who does not care about the man who is serving her. She will beat that man, and not listen to anything he has to say. A real relationship between a dominant and submissive could not be further from that.

These relationships could not survive if they were like that. While they may look one sided, they are entered into with a mutual agreement, and the wishes of both people are considered at all times.

Many people think that the submissive is the only one who must show that respect, but that is not true. In fact, it is important for the dominant to show respect to ensure the safety, both emotional and physical, of the submissive. The respect allows the relationship to mature into something real that can be built upon.

By respecting her partner, a dominatrix will be more in control of her actions. She will listen to her partner and understand why he did certain things. Also, she will show control during punishments so she does not do any real physical or emotional harm to her submissive.

If a dominatrix does not respect her submissive, she could take punishments too far. The punishments would only be for her own gratification instead of being conducted in order to help her submissive. That can cause a dangerous situation.

When a dominatrix fails to show respect to her partner, she can damage the submissive. He will, in a sense, be fully submitting to someone who does not care about him. That can become very damaging to the submissive.

The root of these relationships is based in respect. A submissive respects his dominatrix and believes that she will do what is best for him. A dominatrix respects her submissive and truly wants to help him become a better person.

Also, a dominatrix will respect the fact that her submissive has boundaries, and she will not cross those boundaries. She will understand that he is a person and she will not want to take anything too far with him.

Respect is a key for every mutually satisfying relationship a dominatrix has. She will feel better about the relationship, and her partner will be more satisfied. Relationships that are built on respect are able to mature and they last much longer than relationships that are only for personal gratification.
